Travelling: Desa Jangga

Post, post, post! I'm on fire to post anything hehe.

Still in my vacation to North Sumatera last year, in the third week of our stay in my grandparents's house.
One day, my father was really anxious. We're already in Sumatera for a long time, and we hadn't visited my other grandparents's house yet. So, he asked all of our family member to get in the car.

okay lets go back to my third week of vacation!! *woosh*
He drives for around 5 hours and i can't handle this anymore. Stay in a car for such a long time? i am restless.Unmood.

But when we arrive at Desa Jangga, oh my God.. it's the most beautiful place i have ever seen.
Our car enters the gate and we see so many paddy fields. It's all green and yellow, and sparkling because of  the sun. Completely looking like paradise.
I see Rumah Bolon everywhere for the first time. It's huge and cool. Yeah, a big traditional house that made from woods and carved. Neatly lined.I wish i can share the photo uhh.

Okay, so my family, just like other parents, greet my other family who own one of those amazing Rumah Bolon. i and my brother get bored, so we walk to the fields. Then we see really cute dogs. Aww, they're so adorable. Actually, i'm scared of dogs which have big mouths, but they look friendly. So, with all my braveness, i put my hands above their head and treat them with some bread. I see them starving.
After i do that, some of other dogs which already there and see that we're not going to hit them (not dangerous), and even treat their friend with food, they come in pack and that scared me and my brother.
So we just stand in the middle of hungry dog and they put a focus view to my bread.
But i just take deep breath and throw some pieces of bread, make them run through the cold wind to get some food. Actually, that's fun. So i do it again untill they get the same amount of bread pieces.
At the back of grass, i see a puppy and it likes to play around. So i come closely and treat it. Uhh, how cute!
Me and my brother take some photos. We never have a dog so these kind of activities make us happy.

Now, imagine. Jangga is placed next to a really big reat mountain and you see vehicles rarely. Conclusion?
COLD. After it gets dark, my mom decides to sleep over.
It's my chance of  a lifetime to see Rumah Bolon from inside. So i take off my shoes and climb such a steep wood stairs. When i see it from inside... Okay it's creepy. There's nothing in there, there's no chair, no desk, no cupboard, nothing on the floor! Just a thin carpet that made from plastic fiber. On the wall, i see a picture of a man and a woman with traditional Batak clothes and specific face. Why do i say so? Because i think they must be grandparents of my other family and not people we see on books.
It's almost dark, lightless. I look at my brother and we see at each other.
"Creepy, do you think so?"
He nods and we walk across the room.
At the next room, it's full of light and one thing that surprises me, there's a TV!
Wow. They're already advanced and i have a misunderstanding here.
I thought maybe we'll have a sleep over with no light and blanket, and in the night we'll see ghost or anything.
Ya, overthinking.
It's cold outside, and the householder serves dinner for us. Guess what? Warm rice, warm water, warm fish soup. Best meal ever!
After that, they give us some blanket and we sleep. I'm completely freezing but i think i go through the night succesfully.

The dog i've been always talked about. cute huh?

 uh huh hahaha~

i really wish i could go back and took many pictures..

so this is how it looked like..

Desa Jangga is completely beautiful and it inspired me. Yeah, it becomes background for some of my story.
Imagining some story that happened in such a beautiful village...
It's amazing!
I already draw some scenes in my story and i'll share them later!

See ya!
